Bugojno: Support for Mine Victims

11/28/2009 - Bugojno – First phase of the project “Education for Mine Survivors – Amputees” has been completed, reported a correspondent of the ONASA Agency. The NGO “Landmine Survivors Network” (LSN) implemented the project in the Municipality of Bugojno.

The goal of the project is to provide support for unemployed mine victims in order for them to start their own business to provide income.

The project Coordinator, Sabahudin Velic, said that support should provide conditions for milk production. Four beneficiaries have already received cows and another two will receive them at the beginning of next year.

Training related to milk production was organised for beneficiaries and they all received certificates upon completion of the training.
