Doboj: One Deminer Killed and Another Seriously Injured

12/3/2009 - Sarajevo – One deminer was killed and another was seriously injured today at 11.30 hours after a PROM-1 antipersonnel mine was activated on the site “Makljenovac 30 TAP” in the municipality of Doboj.

The accident occurred while demining activities were being implemented by the local commercial company “NN Ivsa”.

The task started on 23 November and the surface of the site is 33,560 square metres. Thus far one third of the site has been cleared: one landmine and three UXO have been found.
